BELIZE
THE DOG BEHIND HUSKYBLIZZ
MEET BELIZE
Belize was raised as a sled dog just outside Oslo before we adopted her at 1.5 years old, she was smaller in size than the rest of the team and in need of a new home. Both her parents were active sled dogs, but Belize's story is a little different than theirs.
We live in an apartment in Oslo and she adjusted quickly to her new home. Belize turned out to be all the things we wanted in a dog — athletic, kind and goofy.
She is the perfect combination of active and calm and as first time dog owners we couldn't wish for a better fit.

MEET HUSKYBLIZZ
We started Belize’s instagram account to connect with like-minded dog owners and to learn more about the breed. We hope to inspire other dog owners to go outside more often by sharing what we’ve learned about different activities, safety and gear.
We create short adventure videos, gear guides and lifestyle content with an active dog in Norway. Follow along for hikes, ski weekends and everyday life.

OUR STORY
I'm Malin, the creator behind Huskyblizz. I´m a 35-year-old Swede living in Norway with my partner Leif — and Belize.
We'd talked about getting a dog for years and both of us dreamt of a husky. Once we decided to meet Belize, everything fell into place and it was obvious she was the dog we'd been waiting for.
Belize is the reason we get to do more of what we love and that's exactly why we wanted a husky in the first place.
We're based in Oslo but travel a lot between Norway's west coast and Sweden.

WORK WITH BELIZE
The mix of our aesthetics and outdoor life is what makes Huskyblizz different from other dog accounts. I combine my background in fashion with my love for the outdoors to create content and small concepts.
